Big Squishy Strawberry Knitting Pattern

Last year I knit up some cute 3D strawberries just for fun. You’ve enjoyed that knitting pattern. This year, my youngest is obsessed with both stuffies and decorative pillows so I’m designing a lot of big squishy things and this big squishy strawberry knitting pattern is the newest!

Is it a decorative pillow? Is it something to snuggle with? Is it Spring decor? It’s up to you! I toss mine on the couch and it makes me smile every time I see it! And then sometimes someone “borrows” it decorate their bed when they get clean sheets.

Every time I design a new big squishy thing I learn and try something new. I’ve got a rainbow & cloud, a sun, some flowers, and they all use fun different techniques but are still easy and fun to knit.

I knit my cute big squishy strawberry flat with straight knitting needles and worsted weight yarn in red, green and white. The white seeds are added at the end with duplicate stitch.

The thing I really like about this project is how I sewed all the way around the edges of leaves, it adds some fun detail and texture rather than just being a generic strawberry shape.
