Nothing says spring and summer to me that sweet, juicy, red strawberries! I won’t hesitate to say that they are my favorite fruit. I eat sooo many from April through July. And don’t even get me started on strawberry shortcake!
And of course, as a child of the 80’s I was also a big fan of Strawberry Shortcake the character.
How adorable is this bright red hat with cute tiny white polka dots and little green leaves on top? I think it’s one of my faves! And this is one that would be equally adorable on little babies and bigger toddlers.
Although imagine strawberry hat as a gift for a spring baby shower! There would be lots of awwwwwws! This is probably the easiest fair isle knitting pattern that I have on my site and it’s a great one if you’re just learning or even trying it for the first time. I promise, it’s not hard! Just be sure to float the color you’re not currently using LOOSELY on the back and you’ll be fine!
