Sweet Sun Knitting Pattern

The Sweet Sun knitting pattern is a really fun project to knit. It may or may not have take me 7 tries to perfect those cute sun rays around the outside but I did it! And it’s EASY. I know it doesn’t look like but it is.

I knit up a cute sun because I thought it would be a fun and easy summer knitting pattern. It can be a little weird to knit garments or hats or scarves in the summer but you still need knitting projects right?

Also, this adorable sun knitting pattern goes perfectly with my rainbow and cloud knitting pattern. They look incredible adorable on a bed as pillows or your little one can carry them around and play with them. Baby V definitely does both.

I’m debating knitting another set to keep on shelf in my office just because they’re just such happy projects!

The sun knitting pattern is knit in the round with worsted weight yarn. The sun rays are knit flat. Then the entire sun is seamed and stuffed. It’s easy peasy.

Finished Size: approx. 10 inches in diameter

Gauge: 19 stitches = 4 inches

• Worsted weight yarn
• US 7 (4.5 mm) 16″ circular knitting needles
• US 7 (4.5 mm) double pointed needles
• Yarn needle
