This adorable Lucky hat knitting pattern is a fun St. Patrick’s Day knit. St. Patrick’s Day green is not my favorite but add in some rainbows and I’m there!
This cute rainbow St. Patrick’s Day knitting pattern, like my Sweet Shamrock Hat knitting pattern in knit in the round with worsted weight yarn. The pattern includes instructions to knit this cute holiday hat in any of 6 sizes baby, to toddler, to kid, to adult.
This festive hat is knit in bright green yarn with a dark green ribbed brim. Rainbow LUCKY motif is added after the knitting is complete with duplicate stitch. If you are unfamiliar with duplicate stitch, it’s similar to embroidery where you are basically stitching new knit stitches on top of the base knit stitches. It’s actually quite easy.
You can learn how to do duplicate stitch in knitting or get a refresher if you’ve done it before with my super handy step-by-step duplicate stitch tutorial.
Are you ready knit your own fun bright rainbow St. Patrick’s Day hat? Let’s go!
