Knit up this adorable St. Patrick’s Day baby hat, this easy shamrock hat knitting pattern has a cute little shamrock applique on a comfy and soft green baby hat! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
You guys, I don’t know what it is but I’m totally into St. Patrick’s Day this year. I have like three or four different St. Patrick’s Day knitting patterns coming out!
And this is totally out of character because green is just…not my favorite color. No offense to you green lovers out there. I normally ignore the green St. Patrick’s Day stuff and head straight to the rainbow things. Now that I can get behind.
But this I’m feeling it. Maybe it’s the neverending winter that has been torturing us here in Chicago for 9,785 months (not an exaggeration).
Anyway, of all my St. Patrick’s Day ideas, this one is one of my faves. I figured out an easy way to knit a little shamrock applique on this cozy, soft green hat and I just LOVE how it turned out.
And I promise, this one’s super easy. You’re going to want to make a whole field of Shamrock hats. Hey, you could even turn it into a four leaf clover hat if you knit an extra leaf, that would be so cute! Someone do that and share it with me!
Either way, the Little Shamrock hat is such a fun hat and doesn’t require any difficult or tricky techniques so it’s perfect for advanced beginner and on. As long as you can knit in the round to make the hat part, you should be just fine!
