Looking for another easy Christmas wreath knitting pattern, this Peppermint Candy Cane Wreath knitting pattern is perfect. It’s super festive in bright red and white stripes and it’s even embellished with some cute knit peppermint candies!

This adorable Candy Cane wreath pattern is one of my holiday favorites. This easy Christmas wreath pattern is knit in the round with worsted weight yarn on double pointed knitting needles. However, the pattern includes not only detailed instructions and step by step photos, it also includes a modification to knit the wreath itself flat if you prefer to knit on straight knitting needles.

The cute knit peppermint candies are also knit flat and they knit up super quickly. A quick round of single crochet stitches around the outside adds a pop of color and helps them keep their round shape, but, of course, that step is optional. Either way, your peppermint candies will benefit from a careful blocking before assembly. Just be careful that your red yarn doesn’t bleed onto the white sections while you block it!

Gauge: 19 stitches = 4 inches

• Worsted weight yarn in red and white
• 2 sets of US 7 (4.5 mm) double pointed needles
• Yarn needle
• G/6 (4.0 mm) crochet hook (optional)
• 2 inch diameter pool noodle
• Strong tape
