Knit up this adorable Mermaid Hat with my newest knitting pattern for newborn, baby and toddler!
My Mermaid Hat Knitting Pattern is the cutest baby hat under the sea! I chose a pretty pink and purple for the adorable mermaid fish scale pattern but you can pick any colors you like, it would be adorable in shades of teal also!
The Little Mermaid is definitely one of my favorite Disney movies, I was just the right age to love it when it came out. So I thought a cute mermaid hat was in order for you guys!
This cute pattern looks great as an everyday hat or would be very cute as part of a costume! This mermaid baby hat is knit in the round and requires basic knowledge of stranded or fair isle knitting (knitting with two colors of yarn at once). Fair Isle knitting is something that used to scare me almost as much as sewing buttonholes, but guess what! It’s so much easier than I thought it would be! And the feeling of satisfaction you get when you see the pretty patterns start to appear is totally worth it!
