This adorable Easter Bunny hat has a cute bunny face on the front with whiskers, a smile and cocked ears. The Happy Easter bunny hat is knit in the round with worsted weight yarn. It uses both circular knitting needles and double pointed knitting needles. Or you can use the magic loop method if you prefer.

After you knit an easy classic knit hat, and don’t forget it’s been tested thousands of times, you can add the happy Easter bunny face with duplicate stitch. Duplicate stitch in knitting is similar to embroidery and you use yarn to duplicate the existing stitches in another color to make designs. It usually a lot easier than Fair Isle knitting or Intarsia knitting.
