This adorable duplicate stitch knitting pattern, the Peekaboo Penguin Hat knitting pattern has a cute little penguin peeking out over the folded brim!
I honestly can’t get enough of my peekaboo patterns. This peekaboo penguin hat knitting pattern is the cutest one yet. This cutie little penguin looks like they really want a hug!
If you are new to my peekaboo patterns, they’re knit in the round with worsted weight yarn. This pattern requires the use of circular knitting needles and double pointed knitting needles or the magic loop method. Then the design is added to the front after the fact with duplicate stitch. If you are new to duplicate stitch, don’t worry, I’ve got a tutorial!
I love knitting with duplicate stitch because you don’t have to juggle more than one strand/color of yarn at a time and it’s an easy way to make sure that your design is placed perfectly on the finished object. It also in much easier to fix if you make a mistake or want to change or add anything.
Basically duplicate stitch is the best. And this cute little penguin really really wants you to come hang out with them. Look at that sweet beak and tiny little wings!
