Time to plant your garden! Knit this adorable spring tulip hat with my newest fair isle knitting pattern!
Spring is in the air! It’s time to plant your garden and you can do it in style with this super adorable Spring Tulip Hat. Seriously you guys, I’m in love with the bright spring colors that I used for this one. How pretty are those bright pink flowers and the fun sunny yellow pom pom on top?!
I know it looks complicated but it really isn’t, and you’ll get tons of compliments on your little garden full of flowers! Plus, you can totally wear your tulip hat year round, it doesn’t HAVE to be spring or summer!
Just be sure to size up if your little one is between sizes, and be sure to carry (or float) the unused yarn color LOOSELY behind the work so that it won’t pull when the tulip hat stretches.
The Spring Tulip Hat fair isle pattern includes Sizes 0-3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 2T+
Gauge: 20 stitches = 4 inches
Supply List:
Worsted weight yarn in dark green, light green, pink, light blue and yellow
US 7 16″ circular knitting needles
(If you need help, my favorite knitting reference book for everyone from beginners to advanced knitters is THIS ONE!)
