Free Printable Yarn Inventory

Grab this free printable yarn inventory to keep track of the yarn and materials for all of your crochet or knitting projects!

If you knit or crochet, chances are you have a yarn stash. And if you have a yarn stash, chances are you may have a skein or two (or ten) that you forgot you own. Or you can’t remember how many skeins you have or exactly what weight it is.

That’s where our free printable yarn inventory comes in. Keeping track of your yarn inventory will make it much much easier to start new projects and use yarn you already have instead of purchasing new yarn (even though that is obviously more fun).

This printable yarn inventory will keep track of the most important details of your yarn stash for you. When you are deciding what yarn to use for a project, it’s important to keep track of:

Yarn brand
Yarn weight
Yarn colorway
Yarn dye lot
Number of skeins
Total length (yards or meters)
Recommended crochet hook or needle size required

Then you can combine that with our hook and needle inventory sheet and our knitting gauge worksheet and you’ll be all set to start a new project with tools and materials you have at home! And using up your stash means you get to start that new knitting project sooner which I’m sure you agree, is what we all want!
