These adorable free printable popsicle Valentines make the perfect quick and easy DIY Valentine’s Day cards for classrooms or kids!

Some years it’s hard to come up with a cute DIY Valentine’s Day card idea. My kids and I like to make our own. We enjoy it. If you do not, there is NO pressure, just buy them, it’s all good!
But if you do want to try it, a free printable Valentine is the way to go. These cute free printable popsicle Valentines are SO easy to assemble. You print them out, cut them and then staple them to the top of some clear bags filled with popsicle themed treats or toys. It seriously takes 5 minutes max. No weird supplies, no difficult cutting or assembly. And I think they’re cuter than some store bought ones I’ve seen.
Anyway, I went with popsicle themed Valentines this year because we found these incredibly cute popsicle shaped lip glosses. They’re SO cute and all little kids like them. I’m not kidding. I think it’s the cute smiling faces that makes them universally appealing. We also added a few popsicle stickers just for fun.
I personally prefer to give things that are consumable for Valentine’s Day and other holidays because who needs more plastic junk, right?
If you’d like to make popsicle Valentines this year, here are some options for what to include (the first two options are exactly what we used:
- Popsicle lip glosses with cute faces
- Popsicle and ice cream stickers
- Popsicle erasers
- Popsicle sticky notes
- More popsicle lip glosses
- Popsicle key chains
- Popsicle pop fidgets
- Popsicle bubbles
- Popsicle temporary tattoos
Tips & Tricks for great looking Printable Valentine’s Day Cards
- For best quality, have them printed at your local copy shop.
- Have them printed on CARDSTOCK instead of paper, they’ll look a lot nicer.
- Make sure you don’t click “scale to fit” or change the size of the images of they may be distorted.
- Cut the cards apart with either a paper cutter or a craft knife & ruler. No scissors, it’s too hard to get a nice straight cut.
- Have your kids write on the valentines BEFORE you finish assembling them, it’s a lot easier.
- Have your kids write on a few at a time instead of making them sit down and do the entire class at once, I promise it will be a lot easier.
