This cute easy Easter eggs knitting pattern includes detailed instructions to knit these adorable Easter eggs in any of 6 styles!
You guys, I made some knit Easter eggs and they are SO darn cute. I can’t even…
A few years ago I did actually knit up an Easter egg hat which I personally think is one of my totally underappreciated patterns, it’s so cute. But that’s ok. I’ve been wanting to do an Easter eggs knitting pattern for a while now and I finally did it!
This fun pattern is knit in the round on DPN’s because I would much much rather not purl or seam. But let me know if there’s a lot of interest in a flat version and I could probably make that happen.
As it is now, this easy Easter eggs knitting pattern knits up super duper fast (as baby V would say). I can knit one of these start to finish in about 20 minutes total. And trust me, I had a LOT of practice when I knit up all the samples. And these quick projects get a little addicting, you kind of want to see how many different ones you can make it’s hard to stop knitting Easter eggs!
I also had a blast coming up with a bunch of different designs so your knit Easter basket can look just like a real Easter basket!
The finished knit Easter eggs are about 3 inches by 2 inches, so just a little larger than real eggs. And they look great in any pastel color worsted weight yarn. Though if you want to do brightly colored Easter eggs, go for it! You know I love color around here!
