Can we talk about winter break for a minute? Like, have you thought about what your kids are going to DO during winter break? We usually visit relatives, do day trips, sometimes we even sign up for a couple day camps that run in our town over winter break.
But this year, we have none of that. Plus cold weather. We survived summer by being outside a huge portion of the day. But we don’t get all that much snow here, so being outside in Chicago in the winter is pretty much just being uncomfortably cold without any of the fun of snowmen and sledding.
