Sometimes you just get a random idea and it works out perfectly. This Vine Hat knitting pattern is one of those, I just LOVE how it came out.

This cute hat uses stranded or fair isle knitting to make a simple pattern of green leaves around the brim. This would be such a cute hat to wear in Spring when it’s still a little chilly but green things are starting to grow…

OR it would also be great in fall and winter when you desperately miss green leaves.

Hm, who am I kidding, it’s cute enough to wear all year round.

I’m for sure going to be making more of these, I think it would be a nice baby shower gift that pretty much anyone would like.
