This collection of 3 unique Fiery Fades hats knitting patterns blend beautiful sunset colors with a modern twist!
Well, the Fiery Fades Hats knitting pattern is my new obsession. I really enjoyed knitting up some rainbow fades earlier, I just love how they came out. And I really learned how color choice can change the mood of your knitting.
I knit those rainbow fades in both pastel and bright color schemes and they look SO different. So for this pattern, I was very intentional in choosing yarn colors for these Fiery Fades. I went with a light pink, orange, hot pink and raspberry and together they are different enough to show stitch definition but still fade from to the other in a beautiful way that reminds me of sunsets.
The sunset colors are why I named these Fiery Fades as well. Though I can imagine that these would be lovely in lots of other colors as well. I can imagine a cool color version of these patterns that would be very pretty too. If you knit my Fiery Fades Hats in other colors, I’d love to see them!
Since the whole point of this pattern is color selection, I’d recommend choosing a yarn line that has a ton of color choices like this one. Using yarn that all comes from the same place will make sure the colors go together and also that the weight is exactly the same and that the sheen and feel also match. You’d be surprised how much difference there can be between worsted weight yarns!
I have lots of info on my favorite yarns for knitting baby hats, but I always love to hear what you like and what brand you think has the best color selection, tell me! And let’s get started knitting some fiery fades!
