This fun Ikat Hat knitting pattern is a fun and easy fair isle knitting pattern for newborns, babies and toddlers!
Hopefully my Ikat Hat knitting pattern isn’t too late to catch the tail end of the Ikat craze. I don’t think so. Pretty organic patterns like Ikat will be in style for a long time, don’t you think? Anyway, I love how this one turned out. It’s a fun one to knit. Plenty of variety, but not confusing or tedious.
I’m also in love with this Ikat hat color combination. The light color is called “linen” and has long been one of my favorite yarns, it’s like warm gray. Not tan or beige. It’s just right. But the other color is sort of a mix between a pink and light tomato-y red. I love it! And I’m so not a red person. But it’s got just enough almost pink to work for me. I mean, it was a little hard to capture accurately on camera, but I think this is pretty close!
Tell me, which colors would you chose to knit your Ikat hat with?
