This pretty twisting pattern of textured stitches is knit with the SKYP (or the slip knit yarn over pass) stitch and it is a quick and easy pattern for anyone from baby to kid to adult!
So this cute Slip Knit Twist hat is based off the SKYP stitch, otherwise known as the slip knit yarn over pass stitch, which sounds scary and complicated but really really isn’t.
I really want to do some more projects with this stitch because I think it is just so beautiful and honestly, it really isn’t difficult to do at all. Once I got the hang of it, it really didn’t slow me down very much, especially because it’s easy to repeat.
This hat also is great because it only has a 4 round repeat so it’s easy to keep knitting without constantly staring down at your pattern page. You can get into the groove pretty quickly and crank out the gorgeous baby hat in no time!
If you make a Slip Knit Twist hat please don’t forget to load up your project on Ravelry, those link projects really help me!
