Petal Hat Knitting Pattern

This gorgeous petal hat knitting pattern is so beautiful and pretty (and it’s simple too)! It makes an impressive gift for your favorite newborn, baby or toddler or adult!

I love it when a really good idea comes out of nowhere! I was looking one one of my basic baby hat knitting patterns and admiring how the decrease looks and then the idea for this petal hat just came to me.

It look a little fiddling but I love how the petal design turns right into the decrease and those lovely overlapping petals at the top of the hat. Just like a pretty flower on top!

This pretty petal hat gave me so many more ideas for ways to use the decrease and turn something utilitarian into something pretty, I can’t wait to work on more!
