Knit a classic evergreen holly wreath knitting pattern this year, this pretty green knit wreath will become a family heirloom!
It’s wreath week here at Little Red Window and we’re starting off with this classic Evergreen Holly Wreath Knitting Pattern! This adorable knit wreath has a cute textured stripe pattern and is embellished with three sets of holly leaves and holly berries.
This adorable green Christmas wreath knitting pattern contains detailed instructions and step by step photos to help you knit your own.
The Evergreen holly wreath is knit in the round with double pointed knitting needles and worsted weight yarn. However, the pattern also includes notes at the end to knit your wreath flat if that’s what you prefer (I know a lot of you do)! Hopefully this makes this cute Christmas wreath pattern accessible for everyone.
The holly leaves and holly berries are knit flat and then assembled and added to the finished wreath.
This Holly wreath pattern is super easy to knit and to make it easier, we’ve chosen to use a 2 inch diameter pool noodle as the wreath form. That makes it super flexible and cheap. Your local dollar store is a great place to get pool noodles.
If you would like to make the wreath larger just work more rounds. If you’d like to make the wreath on a larger pool noodle, you can simply cast on more stitches at the beginning. Easy peasy!
Are you ready to knit a pretty everygreen holly wreath? Let’s get started!
