Crayon Hat Knitting Pattern

So seriously, this crayon hat…Ok, if I had twins or cousins of similar age or kids that liked dressing alike, I would TOTALLY make a whole bunch of crayon hats all in different colors. I mean, wouldn’t that be the cutest thing? You could add some matching jammies and it would be the most adorable group ever! Maybe even for Halloween?

I guess Baby V is wearing  a turquoise blue crayon hat but I kind of wish it was one of the good color names like “Macaroni and Cheese” or “Mauvelous”. Wouldn’t naming crayons or paint colors be like the best job ever? Can someone hook me up with the person who hires for that? Anyway, make this adorable crayon hat in YOUR favorite color, you just need yarn in a light and dark version of that color and a little bit of black and you’re all set!

Gauge: 19 stitches = 4 inches

• Worsted weight yarn in light teal, dark teal and black
• 16″ US 7 circular needles
• US 7 double pointed needles
• Yarn needle
