This adorable textural Sweetheart Hat knitting pattern is the perfect Valentine’s Day baby hat knitting pattern for your little sweetheart!
You guys I’ve been wanting to make an easy heart shape baby hat knitting pattern forever! I couldn’t quite figure out how to make it look good (and be easy). I seriously made so many swatches for this one. And if you knit, you know swatches are so boring. I’m pretty sure it’s my least favorite part of this craft. Ugh. I feel about swatching how I feel about cutting fabric for quilting. Boo. But I did it! For you!
Anyway, luckily, this year for Valentine’s Day I’ve cracked the code and whipped up the Valentine Sweetheart Hat knitting pattern!
This cute Valentine’s Day baby pattern is knit with easy faux cable stitches (meaning you DO NOT need to know how to knit cables nor do you need a cable needle or any other special equipment.)
I just love how it turned out, what could be cuter than a ring of textured hearts around the brim of a cute knit baby hat?! (Spoiler alert: the thing that’s cuter is the next pic…)
Please note, this hat looks best if not stretched to the max so if in doubt, size up!
Valentine Sweetheart Knitting Pattern
includes Sizes 0-3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 2T+ (if in doubt, size up)
