This adorable pixie bonnet knitting pattern is a sweet take on a classic look with some gorgeous twisted rib edging and braided ties!
I have recently become obsessed with pixie bonnets. My bonnet obsession has grown and I think it might be becoming a problem.
Do you think my husband would be annoyed if I knit him a bonnet for his birthday?
I’m kidding! But I have knit quite a few bonnets for Baby V and I was looking for a new challenge and decided I’d try a pixie bonnet.
Spoiler alert, I actually like them better because they’re even easier to knit! This cute pixie bonnet is completely knit flat which is perfect for those of you avoid knitting in the round like the plague (it’s really not that hard, you can do it!)
I added some pretty twisted rib edging to the front of the bonnet to give a sweet personality and some regular garter edging along the bottom keeps it flat and makes it a little stretchy.
It really is the perfect pixie bonnet knitting pattern! Here’s how to make your own for your little pixie!
