Santa Snowman Hat Knitting Pattern

This adorable Snowman hat knitting pattern features a cute knit smiling snowman with a carrot nose wearing a Santa hat! It’s the perfect Christmas knitting pattern for anyone from baby to kid to adult!

One of my favorite types of hat to knit winter after winter are snowman hats. This year’s Santa Snowman Hat knitting pattern is no exception.

This cute smiling snowman hat feature a cute snowman with a carrot nose wearing his own Santa hat! Fun fluffy white chenille yarn adds some fun accents to the brim and pom pom of the snowman’s Santa hat.

The rest of this cute and easy Christmas hat knitting pattern is knit in the round with worsted weight yarn. You will need red, white, black and orange worsted weight yarn. You will also need white chenille yarn or similar. I use Bernat Pipsqueak in whitey white.

When you are added the snowman’s smiling face as you finish the Santa Snowman hat knitting pattern make sure that your stitches with black yarn aren’t too tight. If you stitch the Snowman smile and eyes tightly. then those stitches will pull when the hat stretches and you don’t want that!

Sizes included: 0-3 months, (6 months, 1-2 years, 3-6 years, Child Large/Adult Small, Adult Large) Read our sizing guidelines post for more information.

Gauge: 19 stitches = 4 inches

• Worsted weight yarn
• White chenille yarn (Bernat Pipsqueak) or similar
• US 7 (4.5 mm) 16″ circular knitting needles
• US 7 (4.5 mm) double pointed needles
• Yarn needle
