The Monogram Hat knitting pattern includes instructions to knit up an adorable monogrammed baby hat with any letter from A to Z or any number from 0 to 9!
You guys, I’m so excited about the monogram hat knitting pattern. After you all liked the monogram Christmas ornaments knitting pattern so much, I thought, why not make a monogrammed hat?
I mean, monogrammed baby gifts are a pretty classic choice, right? And I haven’t seen a monogram hat pattern out there so clearly this is a hole that needs to be filled!
Honestly, the vast majority of you are knitting baby hats as gifts, so a monogram baby hat is the perfect choice, it’ll definitely be a big hit whether it’s for a baby shower, a 1st birthday, Christmas, or to give right after the little one is born!
This easy baby hat knitting pattern is knit FLAT with an easy intarsia section and then seamed up the back with an invisible mattress stitch. So bonus for those of you who hate knitting with DPN’s. You don’t have to for this one!
The easy to print pdf pattern includes step-by-step photo instructions and charts for the monograms with every letter from A to Z (in caps).
I also added charts for the numbers 0 – 9 because I think a birthday hat with a little one’s age on it would be super adorable. Or if you have another number that has personal meaning to your family, you could choose that too!
Or, imagine, if you have a bigger family, each little one with their birth order number on a hat in a family photo. That would be SO cute! Ooo, or as a pregnancy announcement! Someone do that and report back, please!
I also love a pattern like the monogram hat knitting pattern because you can customize it in any color combination and it will be so cute. You can pick traditional boy/girl colors, you can match your nursery colors, you can pick neutrals, or your favorite sports team colors or the colors of your alma mater, you can even choose your favorite boy wizard school house colors, they’ll all be adorable!
I must also share that Baby V is now getting old enough to know most of her letters so she was extra super excited to see these monogram baby hats! The V is obviously for her name, the M for our last name, and the B for a nickname we have for her. She was just delighted!
If you knit a monogram baby hat, make sure you share it with me, I love seeing what you guys come up with!
