These great ideas to make your own craft supplies use ingredients you might already have at home. And these DIY craft supplies will save you time and money!

If you’re thinking that DIY craft supplies is just too meta for you, well, honestly, there are lots of reasons you might want to make your own craft supplies.

For one thing, you might want to make a craft supply that you just can’t find in a store, like if you want a very specific color or pattern, for example.

Another reason you might want to make your own craft supply is to save money. There are some craft supplies that can be a little pricey (I’m looking at you, chalk paint!) and the DIY version might very well save you some dough!

And finally, sometimes DIY craft supplies are just more convenient. Maybe you don’t have a craft store near you, maybe ordering it online won’t be fast enough, maybe your baby is sleeping and you only have time to do this project NOW and you ran out of an essential supply (I mean, we’ve all been there, haven’t we?).

Or maybe you just want to try making your own craft supplies for fun. That would be my reason, I’m just that kind of person. I’m sure you all are 0% surprised.
