This adorable little ghost hat knitting pattern is the perfect Halloween knitting project for your baby, toddler or newborn!
So here in Chicago, it is almost always cold for trick-or-treating on Halloween. We kind of have to play to fit a winter coat UNDER our costumes. Every once in a while it’s not that chilly, but it’s kind of a fact of life.
If you life somewhere with a comparable climate, then let me tell you, Halloween costumes where a warm hat is PART of the costume, are the BEST. Especially for babies and toddlers.
This adorable little Ghost Hat knitting pattern makes for an extremely cute and easy Halloween costume, for example. And getting ready to trick-or-treat takes about two minutes. Just put on your super cute smiling ghost hat, add some white clothes (pjs, shirt and pants, or dress) and that’s it, you’re ready!
Bonus points if your little one is old enough to learn to say, “Boo!”
And of course my ghost hat is a happy smiling ghost. We don’t do scary Halloween around here. I have never liked scary Halloween. Nope! Adorable pumpkins and smiling ghosts for me!
This easy baby ghost hat knitting pattern does require a very small amount (just 4 rounds) of stranded or two color knitting. But it’s really easy. If you’re just learning to do fair isle or stranded knitting, this is a great project to practice on because there’s only a little bit of it!
