Interwoven Hat Knitting Pattern

This pretty Interwoven Hat knitting pattern has ribbons of woven color all the way around and it’s a fun knit for anyone from baby to kid to adult!

Sometimes, when I’ve written about several knitting patterns and craft projects in a single day, I start to run out of things to say about them. I mean, based on Facebook memes, y’all don’t read this part anyway, right? But that is not the case with this Interwoven Hat knitting pattern.

I am obsessed with the colorwork pattern on this easy baby hat. It looks like strips that go over and under each other and it looks super complicated and seamless, but the truth is, it’s actually not that complicated! It’s an easy repeating pattern that magically creates this interwoven hat.

I also love the idea of knit hat looking woven and also knit at the same time, it’s a funny little play on concepts that makes me laugh. I realize that’s totally dorky. But it is what it is!

Anyway, the other part of this baby hat knitting pattern that I’m in love with is the color scheme. I am obsessed with this combination of dusty pink and rusty orange. Is a color combination I would normally choose? I don’t know, but I might now!

I like how the two colors play together. I also like that it’s almost monochromatic but with enough contrast to show of the pattern well. I also like that pink and orange works for pretty much any season. I guess it’s not super winter-y but it’s great for spring, summer and fall!
