Greetings Baby Hats Knitting Pattern

These adorable greetings baby hats are the perfect way to welcome your little one into the world! Knit one up for your favorite new arrival!

You guys, I’m obsessed with knitting words. It’s the most fun! It can also be a bit of a puzzle to figure out, but I also enjoy that. It’s like the perfect combination of writing and designing with a little bit of math thrown in. Oooo, that’s my idea of a good day!

(omg, I am such a nerd. )

Luckily, you all LOVED my Valentine Love Notes hats, which honestly, a baby can wear any time of year. But I thought I’d expand the collection to include some non-holiday greetings baby hats. 

(You should keep your eyes peeled as well for some fun upcoming OTHER holiday word hats. They’re going to be soooo cute!)

I can almost 100% guarantee that when someone peeks into your stroller and sees your cute baby wearing a hat that says “howdy” they’re going to chuckle. It’s like an instinct.

In a perfect world I would have included even more greetings, but baby hats are small and you can only fit so many letters on the front of hat. Sorry those of you who say “bonjour” or “guten tag”… I tried! I swear!

The Greetings Baby Hats all have a band of checkerboard patterning around the brim with the greeting centered on the front of the hat, like this:

includes Sizes 0-3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 2T+

Gauge: 20 stitches = 4 inches

NOTE: all designs include a band of checkerboard pattern with the greeting centered on the front of the hat.
