I really hope it’s a long time before color blocking goes out of style. I really love it, especially for knitting because changing colors is a REALLY easy way to change up the look of a knitting pattern.
This Valentine Colorblock Hat knitting pattern can be customized in sooo many different ways just depending on which colors you choose for the colorblocked background and for the cute little row of hearts.
I went with shades of pink and a super super pale lavender (which was really hard to photograph) and Baby V and I both love it. She is really a big fan of pink and purple right now and often declares to me that they are favorite colors. Third favorite is “sparkly silver” which is just about the cutest thing ever.
She also claims that NO ONE picks white or black for their favorite colors, but actually this had would be SO cute with white and black and a little pop of pink or red. Someone knit one like that and share it with me!
I can’t wait to see what you guys come up with, don’t forget to share your projects with me over on Ravelry, I love seeing what you knit!!
