This adorable Candy Corn Hat knitting pattern can be knit in any of three sizes and looks just like your favorite Halloween candy!
I feel like candy corn is one of those candies that I think upon fondly 11 months out of the year, I see some around Halloween, get excited, and then eat about 5 pieces before I’ve had enough. You won’t get sick of this sweet Candy Corn Hat though!
This pattern falls firmly in the camp of my-husband-thinks-it’s-not-going-to-work-out which actually means that it usually turns out awesome. I was weaving in the ends on this one, having just finished when Aa, walked by and said, “Are you sure about that? It looks kind of tall and weird…”
Apparently he hadn’t looked at any candy corn lately because it IS this shape (ish)! And of course, once I put it on Baby V’s head he said, “Ohhh, you’re right!” and then started laughing because she looked so sweet/silly.
I mean, this is just not a serious hat. So there you go, I fully realize this makes a very long hat, and that’s ok, that’s what I was going for.
Enjoy your cute candy corn hat, I promise it won’t give you a stomach ache!
