I figured, in case you’re just not in the mood to dress up like an animal, maybe a slightly more subdued hat is in  order? How about a modern take on an argyle hat knitting pattern?

And you guys, I did some googling, and there are not a lot of argyle hat knitting patterns out there. Not sure why that is since argyle is so cute and such a classic pattern.  Imagine all of the different color combinations you could make this in! I made the pattern simple and modern enough that it’s not frustrating to follow but it’s still just challenging enough to still be interesting to knit. The perfect balance for a knitting project if you ask me!

When I knit the sample of my new argyle hat knitting pattern, I had a hard time choosing between this hot pink and lavender and a fun bright blue and spring green. Aa had to pick for me. But I might have to make the other one some other time! What colors would you pick?
