This beautiful Hazel Herringbone Cowl knitting pattern is a fun easy knit and a great way to show off your favorite hand-dyed yarn! Makes for a super soft, cozy and sophisticated cowl!
Oh my gosh, I am so obsessed with the Hazel Herringbone Cowl knitting pattern. This is just one of those ones that gives you a huge bang for your buck with very little effort.
I’m just in looooove with this sort of faux herringbone stitch which looks complicated but, spoiler alert! It’s actually easy. Like you won’t even believe how easy. If you can knit in the round, you can absolutely knit the Hazel Herringbone Cowl. Even if it’s one of your first projects.
And can we talk a minute about this yarn. I happened to be shopping with my mom when I bought this. I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t the cheapest ever, but it is just lucious. Soooo soft and just insanely gorgeous colors. I wish you all could see it in person.
It is a small hand-dyed yarn company so I don’t know that you’ll be able to find this exact color but because I know you’ll ask ( I would!) it’s Three Irish Girls Springvale worsted in the color “When Doves Cry”. I used one skein (200 yds) for this herringbone cowl knitting pattern.
