This adorable Halloween BOO Hat knitting pattern is the perfect trick-or-treat baby hat, this easy colorwork pattern says BOO! on the front with a cute stripe pattern around the sides, perfect for your newborn, baby or toddler this Halloween!
Hello, and welcome to Little Red Window where I knit animals and words onto baby hats. That about sums it up, ha! I really love my typography hats because they’re fun to knit but still really easy because you can see the pattern emerge as you go.
I also love it because knitting fair isle patterns in the round is the way to go, it’s the best because it’s nothing but knit stitches. (That’s my new terrible slogan for knitting in the round, stolen from basketball, “nothing but knit!” ha!)
I love this Halloween BOO Hat knitting pattern because you can wear it all of October, it’s not just a one-day costume. That is awesome because when you hand knit something you want to get the most wears out of it as possible, am I right?!
I mean honestly, the way things are going with holidays these days pretty soon it will be totally normal to be decorating for Halloween in August and then you can wear this cute Halloween baby hat even longer! And then we can all switch to Christmas right after. What do you think? Holidays all year long?
