Anyone would love this adorable tied stocking cap knitting pattern knit in pretty stripes with a bow tied at the end!

My child obviously wears a lot of hats, but their favorite is stocking caps and as a parent, I love them too for kids. Mostly because when kids run around in stocking caps, they hat bounces around adorably. Bonnets are my all-time favorites, but stocking caps are close second!

This pretty striped tied stocking cap knitting pattern is knit in the round with worsted weight yarn on circular knitting needles. You will need to switch to double pointed knitting needles or use the magic loop method to complete the decrease section at the top of the hat.

Then the pattern will explain how to make and attach the adorable cute I-cord bow that ties up the end of the stocking cap. I really love how this cute kids stocking cap pattern turned out. And honestly, it would be very cute for adults as well and make a great knit gift!
Are you ready to knit your own bow tied stocking cap? Let’s get started!
