This adorable Rainbow Swirl Hat knitting pattern features alternating bands of blue sky, white clouds and colorful rainbows, it will look adorable on your little one!
You guys, I am obsessed with the Rainbow Swirl Hat knitting pattern! Seriously how fun are these rainbow stripes swirling around the hat!
I’ve seen swirl hat patterns floating around the internet before but I’ve never knit one before, turns out it’s actually really easy! This adorable rainbow swirl hat is knit mostly flat and then sewn together to make the twisting swirly stripes. It’s kind of magic the way it works out in the end.
I was surprised by how much stretch there was to this one and please know, I have done my very best math in figuring out the sizing on this one. I really hope it’s accurate. But if you find it’s not fitting, please do let me know! Even when I test and re-test patterns I can’t always account for how things will work out in the real world on other people’s needles, you know what I mean? But I’m happy to hear (polite) feedback anytime!
In the meantime, I hope you all love this pattern as much as I do. The swirly alternating stripes of sky blue, white clouds and bright colorful rainbows topped with a big fluffy yellow sun pom pom just make you smile. This one’s sure to get lots of compliments when you’re out and about with your little one!
I mean, would it be weird if Baby V and I wear matching Rainbow Swirl hats? What’s that? You said it’s not weird at all? Cool!
