This adorable baby rainbow hat has a simple and colorful knit rainbow applique on the front, knit one up for your little one!
You guys, recently I had someone tell me that I don’t know what I’m doing (the internet is not always a nice place). I have a pretty thick skin thanks to my Master’s degree in architecture. I mean seriously, I take criticism like a champ. But something about this made me feel like an imposter.
Which is ridiculous because it’s not like there’s some blogger/pattern designer accreditation school I could go to. Anyway, it only lasted about a day and then I realized that’s dumb, and I DO know what I’m doing.
But it’s always nice when I’m working on a new pattern like this adorable Little Rainbow Hat knitting pattern and the sample turns out EXACTLY right on the first try. Hey look! I do know what I’m doing!
I mean honestly, how cute is this rainbow hat?! I debated adding some clouds, but I already have a cute hat with fluffy clouds so I figured this time I’ll just focus on Roy G. Biv.
(Totally random aside, I was just remembering, when O was maybe 4 years old, we heard something on tv or the radio about Roy G. Biv which he had recently learned about in preschool and he got super excited and said, “Hey! Roy G. Biv! I know that guy, he invented rainbows!!” It was hilariously adorable.)
Anyway, this hat is cute and colorful and I love it. You should knit one immediately. The end.
