I love my new Wavy Lines hat knitting pattern because it’s the perfect gender neutral hat knitting pattern. Sometimes it’s hard to find easy hat patterns that work for boys.
Or you’ll find a cute pattern that really boyish and then it won’t work very well for girls. But this cute pattern of vertical zig zags is adorable and can be knit in any two colors of your choice! I would love to see what color combos you guys come up with!

The wavy lines hat knitting pattern is knit in the round and does require basic knowledge of fair isle or stranded knitting techniques but it’s a simple 6 row repeat that is a pretty easy knit and would be great for beginners to work on their tension.
