This creepy cute Halloween Eyeball Hat Knitting Pattern is the perfect easy Halloween hat pattern!

This year, for Halloween, I decided to knit a creepy eyeball hat. And let me tell you, it’s times like this when my job is REALLY weird. It’s common for me to send my mom photos of things I’m working on and I sent her a picture of this with no commentary.

Friends, she was SO confused. Because I was knitting this in July to get ready for Fall. She told me later she’d showed my dad and asked, “Is this a flower or something? Because all I can see is an eyeball, but why would she be knitting an eyeball hat?!” Fair question!

Anyway, I have so many Halloween knitting patterns that this one seemed so ridiculous and fun and I could not be happier with how it turned out. My Halloween eyeball hat is knit in the round with worsted weight yarn. You will need US 7 (4.5 mm) 16 inch circular knitting needles, and a set of matching double pointed knitting needles. If you prefer you could use the Magic Loop method to finish the top of the hat.

You will also need a yarn needle to embroider the eyeball veins at the end. That might be the weirdest sentence I’ve ever typed for work in my life.
If you’re ready to knit a creepily cute eyeball hat for Halloween, let’s get started!
