Gentle Ghosts Hat Knitting Pattern

These cute and friendly gentle ghosts are fun to knit, it’s the perfect ghost hat knitting pattern for Halloween, in six sizes!

If you’ve been here for any length of time, you know I’m a fan of cute Halloween, not scary Halloween. And I’m also a fan of duplicate stitch. So this year I wanted to use duplicate stitch to design some cute and friendly ghosts for a gentle ghost hat knitting pattern.

This cute hat is knit in the round with worsted weight yarn. The pattern includes charts to add three different ghosts with duplicate stitch to your finished hat. You can place them wherever you like and use one, two or all three, it’s up to you!

If you are new to duplicate stitch or need a refresher, I have a handy duplicate stitch tutorial right here on my site. I promise, it’s easy and super rewarding. A little practice will get you nice tidy duplicate stitches.

If you like this cute pattern, I do have another ghost hat pattern that is just as cute. This one works great as a ghost Halloween costume if you add some white pajamas!

Gentle Ghosts Hat Knitting Pattern

Sizes included: 0-3 months, (6 months, 1-2 years, 3-6 years, Child Large/Adult Small, Adult Large) Read our sizing guidelines post for more information.

Gauge: 19 stitches = 4 inches

• Worsted weight yarn
• US 7 (4.5 mm) 16″ circular knitting needles
• US 7 (4.5 mm) double pointed needles
• Yarn needle
