Christmas Tree Truck Hat Knitting Pattern

This adorable duplicate stitch Christmas Tree Truck Hat knitting pattern is the perfect classic Christmas hat pattern!

Ralph Lauren Christmas is the trend this year and I think that’s because classic Christmas never goes out of style. And one of my favorite classic Christmas themes is the cute red pickup truck with a fresh cut tree in the back. It brings up so many happy cozy feelings, doesn’t it?

So this year I designed a Christmas tree truck hat knitting pattern. I’m not sure why I haven’t done this before, it turned out so cute!

This cute classic Christmas hat knitting pattern is knit in the round with worsted weight yarn. The Christmas tree truck and other trees are added at the end with duplicate stitch. However, if you’d prefer to knit this hat with stranded knitting you could just insert the same charts into the hat pattern spacing them evenly around the outside.

I like this knitting pattern because, when you use duplicate stitch to add the motifs at the end, you can customize the design. You can add just the truck. Or the truck and one or two extra trees. Or you can make it like my sample and add extra trees all the way around so it looks like a Christmas tree lot or forest!
