The Candy Corn Garland Knitting Pattern is a quick and super satisfying Halloween decor knitting pattern!
After I knit a scalloped garland, I’ve been really enjoying decorating with knit garlands. I like the idea that they can be reused again and again and will look good year after year even if they get thrown in a bin in between uses.
We try, at our house, to re-use holiday and birthday decorations whenever we can, so this knit candy corn garland is a really great addition. I made mine long enough to fit across out living room mantle, but you can make it any length you want.
This candy corn garland is knit flat with worsted weight yarn in white, yellow and orange. Everytime I knit anything candy corn colored, I ALWAYS get the color order incorrect, so do yourself a favor and make sure you double check that. For some reason the color order seems illogical to me.
Anyway, you do knit each candy corn triangle flat but because they are knit in garter stitch, you can make each one really really quickly. I promise, this will not take a million years to knit!
The only other important information to know before you start knitting this Halloween knitting pattern is that it does require very very basic crochet knowledge. I used single crochet stitches across the top of each triangle to connect them because it was the tidiest looking option. However, if you don’t want to do that, I have included a few other strategies to try that you could use to finish the garland that don’t involve crochet.
Are you ready to knit your cute Halloween garland?
