Knit 3 adorable and different knit trees with the easy Cozy Christmas Tree Knitting Patterns, they’re perfect for the holiday season!
Friends, a Christmas tree knitting pattern has been on my to-do list for probably three years. I know. How embarrassing! But I think, in the end, it’s a good thing for all of us that I waited and became a better knitter and designer so they could turn out exactly how I was imagining them in my head.
This fun holiday knitting pattern includes instructions for THREE different sized trees with THREE totally different cozy twisting cable-y patterns.
It’s REALLY hard to pick which one is my favorite (shhh, it’s you, smallest tree…)
The pattern includes stitch explanations, supply lists, separate patterns for each tree AND instructions for finishing your knit Christmas trees so they stand up and look amazing!
I mean, honestly, I contemplated about 5 different methods for getting them to stand up, including stuffing them with something, but I’m super happy with what I went with. It was basically free, super easy and my knit Christmas trees look straight and sharp so you can really see all of those pretty stitches!
I keep moving them around from my mantel to my buffet to my living room shelves…
Would you like to meet each cute little tree?
Here’s the LARGE Christmas Tree knitting pattern:
Here’s the MEDIUM Christmas Tree knitting pattern:
And here’s the SMALL Christmas Tree knitting pattern:
My trees are knit with worsted yarn and the finished sizes are approximately:
- Large: 4 1/2 in. x 10 in.
- Medium: 4 1/2 in. x 8 in.
- Small: 4 in. x 4 1/2 in.
But just like my little knit pumpkins, you can change it up by using different yarn or needles and your trees will come out bigger or smaller with no other changes!
I love a pattern where no reason to think about gauge!
